It was a real joy for me to talk to Robert Harley, Technical editor of Fi Magazine and former Consulting Technical Editor of Stereophile magazine. I visited him in the Fi booth in Alexis park hotel/CES. On the Photograph you see him presenting his book ''The complete guide to High End Audio'' which I bought. I read important parts of it on my flight back to Germany and I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get to know the basics and more about high end audio. Of course not even a book of this quality abandons you from listsening yourself ! No writer has your own ears. Nevertheless this book can give valuable hints for your own orientation. Robert Harley is the author of more than 300 reviews and still loves the music. He absolutely knows what he is writing about and he is not wearing his nose in the sky! Very very high credibility factor!

It was very nice to meet some of the guys of SoundStage! Internet magazine visiting us at room 2106 in St. Tropez Hotel. About eight or so writers were in Vegas to give a decent live coverage from both the shows in Alexis park and St. Tropez. They carried a lot of equipment to publish everyday several times. From left to right you see reviewer Ian White, editor in chief Marc Mickelsen and Doug Schneider who publishes the magazine.

The man on the right beside me is Mike Maloney who organized T.H.E. Show successfully together with Todd Brown. Mike had some experience in managing larger events like big concerts, charity events and others before he got involved in T.H.E. Show. He even worked in the high-end audio industry as rep and as a successfull manufacturer for a long time.
