+++ Nov.02.2006 Lehmannaudio to supply Ortofon
The Danish traditional company Ortofon, the world’s most significant producer of turntable pickup systems, has ordered electronic devices exclusively from Cologne-based specialist manufacturer Lehmann for their quality control in Nakskov, Denmark. The equipment used, a Black Cube Statement, is the entry-level phono preamp that was presented by Lehmannaudio at the High End 2006. This model already lived up to the high expectations by the Danish hightech company as to high-quality electronics.

Leif Johannsen, head of Ortofon’s acoustics & technology department: "The long-term stability and working reliability which Lehmann audio is known for were the crucial factor in our decision to use the units for this application. Furthermore, the Black Cube Statement is also a real bargain."

German speaker manufacturer Trivox has been using the Black Cube Stamp to demonstrate their speakers for several months now. Daniel Erlemann and Gernot Grabosch have nearly twenty years experience in speaker building. They even develop their own chassis. The Trivox line has a very high efficiency of over 93dB. All Trivox speakers are built in Germany.

+++ Aug. 26. 2005 Lehmann audio gets new representation in AU/NZ
The quality of the Black Cube Linear leads to the next cooperation with a national Sennheiser representative: Syntec of Australia took over the distribution of Lehmann audio products for Australia and New Zealand after receiving samples that did a convincing job at the company's listening facilities.

Syntec has listed far over 300 Sennheiser dealers in Australia and New Zealand and is catering both the consumer and the professional audio market with names (besides Sennheiser) like Bryston, Dolby, Manley, Neumann (microphones) and Tannoy to name just a few. This means a quantum leap for Lehmannaudio in the coverage of the AU/NZ market giving practically all AU/NZ headphone listeners the opportunity to audition a Sennheiser/Lehmann combination locally.

Han Dohmen, Sales Manager of Sennheiser Netherland BV, has just decided to use Black Cube Linear headphone amplifiers for demonstrations and trade shows especially in combination with Sennheiser's top notch headphones after an in depth evaluation of the unit. He will therefore cooperate with Jelmer Hovinga of Sound Design Import who is the Lehmannaudio distributor in the Netherlands. As a result it is not surprising that the Black Cube Linear outshines the built-in headphone output of every CD player or amplifier we could get our hands on. The shallow unit from Cologne pumped so much drive, impact and transparency into the earpieces of practically every pair of headphones we tried that it became alarmingly obvious that built-in headphone amplifiers are mostly nice gimmicks but in the end only temporary solutions."

+++ June 28. 2004 First review of the Black Cube Linear in German magazine. The Black Cube Linear gets as full page review in the German magazine Hifi & Records, issue 03/2004. Reinhold Martin writes in his conclusion: "At first go Norbert Lehmann got a headphone amp going that belongs to the creme de la creme of this amplifier species and is the authors new personal favourite."

+++ May 25. 2004 Lehmannaudio back from an overwhelming High End show in Munich!
The first High End show in Munich was a tremendous success as many exhibitors state. All in all roughly about 50% more visitors than at the last High End show in Frankfurt indicate clearly that the step to move was the right one. At our booth we faced a huge interest in the new products and some new distributors we had long wanted to contact instead contacted us and asked for cooperation. Also many end users (mostly Germans of course) showed up and had questions or asked for the nearest dealer of Lehmannaudio products. We will be happy to be back in Munich next year!
